It astounds me how stubborn and idiotic this guy can be. He calls “spending on promoting astronomy” a waste of money, and then speaks about how important education is.

The House voted on delaying the switch from analog to digital, originally to take place on February 17th, until June 12th. The reason they cite is that the american people need more time to convert their televisions, and if we were to flip the switch now more than 6 million households would be left in the dark.

President-elect Barack Obama will offer his weekly addresses to the nation not only over the radio, but now on YouTube. This is genius. People will actually listen the President’s address from now on. Here is the first one:
