It astounds me how stubborn and idiotic this guy can be. He calls “spending on promoting astronomy” a waste of money, and then speaks about how important education is.

This is really awkward to watch. At a rally this morning, Joe the plumber was supposed to show up to support John McCain, but when McCain called out to him to stand up, he was nowhere to be seen.

I really believe that newspapers should not endorse candidates. If they do, next time I read them I’ll be thinking about whether they’re being biased or not. Here’s a list of the big newspapers endorsing each candidate:
