Every time I get a new DVD in the mail from Netflix, I’m reminded why I hate DVD’s. They could be filled with blue rays, they could be brand new, whatever. The problem is that no matter what, they almost always skip. It’s like you can’t even breath on them or else you’re screwed. After all that crazyness of Hulu blocking Boxee from accessing it’s video library, Hulu has gone ahead and made their very own desktop application.
TUAW is reporting that Hulu excecs will be meeting up tonight in NYC and releasing a brand new version of it’s very popular software. This new version comes with several upgrades, including a nice workaround to access Hulu’s RSS feeds. This workaround is great because it’s based on Mozilla’s XUL, basically rendering any efforts from Hulu’s part to block Boxee from accessing its RSS feeds useless.
