"Downloading Starcraft 2. Hope the wait was worth it!"
I was fortunate enough to see Terminator Salvation at a press screening yesterday thanks to my buddy Joe from over at Joesdaily.com, and I thought I would share a few things about it. Don’t worry, no spoilers.
Finally got to see the new Star Trek and it rocks. One of the best things about this prequel is that you really don’t need any previous knowledge of the series. The casting was superb for almost every character.
After months, if not years, of waiting, I finally went to see ‘Watchmen’. First of all let me say that I wasn’t a die-hard fan of the comic, but I was a fan nonetheless. I’m also a big fan of ‘300′ and couldn’t wait to see what Zach Snyder would pull in a film like Watchmen. I have mixed feelings about the outcome. The film feels like a mix of a few different movies, and at times a bit over the top. There’s lots of ‘300′ and ‘Sin City’ style action AND violence. The film in fact is extremely violent, then again so is the comic. Here are some of the praises and issues that I have with ‘Watchmen’.
Knowing this is supposedly Eastwood’s last film makes me sad. I feel like the man peaked too soon. Unforgiven, perhaps my favorite Eastwood film, should have been his last.
Wired has posted a slew of images that show us a post-apocalyptic world, where machines have taken over. They also have an awesome interview with director McG (I know…), who talks about what the new film will focus on, and what types of Terminators we’ll see!
This has been a long battle, but it seems like it has finally reached the end. Warner Bros. and Fox have come to terms and reached a settlement for the upcoming Watchmen movie.
