Battlestar Galactica Speaks At...

On Tuesday, March 17th 2009, Ron Moore, the creator of the show and part of the lead cast participated in a talk at the United Nations during the Creative Community Outreach Initiative. The initiative was started last year by Secretary General Ban Ki-moon as part of an effort to get the organization’s message out to more people. During this meeting, officials and cast alike watched clips from the acclaimed show and discussed moral relativism.

Battlestar Galactica Nears Its...

Battlestar Galactica is finally coming to a close after many years. It is a sad time for everyone. The series finale promises to blow everyone away with mind bending answers and perhaps even questions. I, for one, am hoping that Ron Moore didn’t forget to answer some of the most basic things that the show has asked or presented us with during its course. So here it is, a round up of the things that are still in need of answers.

The Battlestar Galactica That...

Back in 1999, Richard Hatch (now AKA Tom Zarek) had a whole vision of his own when it came to the re-imagining of the classic show. I’ve been completely obsessed a fan of this show since the mini-series, and was absolutely shocked when I found this gem over at io9. Richard Hatch not only was coming back as the famous Apollo, he in fact co-wrote and co-directed the short, and called it Battlestar Galactica: The Second Coming.

Where Lost Intends To...

Digital TV Delayed, No One...

The House voted on delaying the switch from analog to digital, originally to take place on February 17th, until June 12th. The reason they cite is that the american people need more time to convert their televisions, and if we were to flip the switch now more than 6 million households would be left in the dark.
