I respect Blizzard for having such high quality standards. I really do. I can’t count the times that I get pissed off at a video game because of lousy controls, bad story, or horrible voice over. Blizzard has always made sure that their products are perfect before release to ensure the best possible experience for the gamer. But enough is enough.

First it was slated for a late 2009 release (we’ve been expecting this game since mid to late 2008), and now there’s talk of it not being ready until 2010. It’s one thing making a game good enough and perfect enough that everyone will love, but it’s another thing being totally OCD about it. What if they find some bug next month, are they gonna push the release date until late 2010? Then the graphics will be outdated. Will they have to redesign the entire thing?

Look, I love Blizzard and the games they release, but enough is enough.
