2012 Full Trailer Released

As one would expect from an Emmerich film (Day After Tomorrow, Independence Day), the film is full of CGI. In fact, I’m not sure there’s a single shot in the trailer that doesn’t have some form of CGI. Regardless, the film looks pretty intense.

To be honest I had completely forgotten that John Cusack was in this. Once I saw him I had to give the movie a little more credit. I have no doubt in my mind that the film will end up being another Independence Day/Day After Tomorrow, it just seems to be about twice the epicness. I’m thinking I’ll wait to see this one at the discount theater.

You can watch it here.

Effects were pretty amazing, but seriously, how many different ways did they just show to wipe out humans?? I remain excited, but I fear this movie way be a big letdown. Let’s not forget Emmerich’s last movie was 10,000 B.C.
