Finally we get a look at The Time Traveler’s Wife. This is a film I’ve been anticipating for years when I was told about the book.

The film, about a librarian with a peculiar gene that causes him to travel in time involuntarily, stars Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams. I have to admin I haven’t read the book, which is really too bad because I was hoping to get to it prior to the release of the film. Then again, most adaptations are disappointing, so maybe it’s a good thing?

Both Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams are strong actors, and to be honest I wasn’t too sure what to think when I heard they would be starring in this film together. I’m glad to say it seems like it works.

My issue with the trailer? It gives away too much, as is the case with most trailers these days. I haven’t read the book and I have being force fed the entire story in 2 minutes. Less is more, people!
