The Martin Scorsese and Leo DiCaprio duo are at it again. This time around for a thriller/horror film.


I have a lot of respect for actors and directors that try to get out of their elements and do something they haven’t tried before. Particularly with actors and directors that have a fantastic resumé but have never attempted said genre.

Shutter Island is about the disappearing of a mental patient and the two detectives that come to investigate the incident. The film looks promising, and considering the talent backing this film I have no doubt it will succeed. I have no idea how this movie snuck under my radar. If it wasn’t for Joesdaily I would’ve been non the wiser. It comes out October 2, 2009.
