I know I’m biased, but personally I love the idea. These things are a very real part of our lives, especially younger people, and today’s kids will be using tools like these for the rest of their lives. Teaching them how to properly use these tools early on is fantastic.

The bad part of this is that teachers will have more control over the curriculum they teach, so that means that they  may not be required to learn useless things like, oh I don’t know, World War II?

Traditional education in areas like phonics, the chronology of history and mental arithmetic remain but modern media and web-based skills and environmental education now feature.
