Engadget just reported on the new VAIOs. OK, I gotta say that finally there’s a worthy adversary to Apple’s notebooks. Check out these new VAIOs.

Features include:
8″ screen (LED)
1,600 x 768 resolution (ZOMG!)
802.11n WiFi
3G WWAN
Bluetooth
4 hour battery (8 hours with optional high capacity cell)
GPS (yes… it’s true)
Price starts at $900… are you kidding me? This sort [...]

Price starts at $900… are you kidding me? This sort of thing really makes me get pissed off at Apple. If Sony can fit all of this in such a small package, don’t preach me how hard it was to make an 8 hour battery for a 17″ MacBook Pro. No matter what Apple uses as an excuse for not making their laptops more full featured, they can eat it.
